One of our company’s core principles is to respect the product we offer to users. We consider practices such as paid downloadable content (DLC) and microtransactions to be disrespectful — we will always sell a complete, finished product, as a single piece. For that same reason, early access is also not aligned with our development philosophy.
We aim for our games to work as independently as possible, without requiring internet access or additional services. In general, we will never ask you for an internet connection or collect any of your data to play our games. We would only require internet access when absolutely necessary, and even then, we would collect the bare minimum — ideally, nothing at all.
We also dislike to rely on crowdfunding platforms like Kickstarter or third-party support to develop our games. We prefer to make games within our means rather than chase overly ambitious projects that depend on third-party support or funding
